  • Big Idea #2: Health

    IMAGINE THIS SCENARIO

There’s another global SARS or H1N1 pandemic. The World Health Organization and The UN have one particular association body on their speed dial. They pick up the phone and call this association. Within 72 hours this association deploys building service contractors from around the globe to every airport in order to have them cleaned to a global disinfection specification.

This was a hypothetical scenario posed by Stan Doobin, LeRoy Dock, and Andrew Large of the World Building Federation…and they want that association body on speed dial to be the World Building Federation. And to turn this imagined scenario into reality (so that we have a cleaner and safer world for all of us), we are putting together a phenomenal session for you on HEALTH.

    The BIG Question:
How Does This Industry Become More Relevant?

    • RICHARD E. BESSER M.D. ON “THE NEXT PANDEMIC”

Richard is going to talk about the threats we face and set the stage by giving you a context to think about pandemics and Health.

    • Jerome Peribere - CEO, Sealed Air on “The Value of Clean”

It’s not just about the appearance of clean but what is the real value you bring as a BSC providing areas that are hygienically clean.

  • Big Idea #3: People

This session isn’t just for VPs of Human Resource. This is a session that concerns every individual at every level of your organization. The Presidents, CEO, COO, CFO, VPs of Operation, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs…and…VPs of Human Resource. This session is for C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, business owners…AND…Human Resources.

Whether your business is cleaning, catering, security, or any other industry, on some level your business involves a labor intensive personally delivered service. Since that is the case, this session on PEOPLE is going to be critically important to you.

His presentation will cover common sense approaches to dealing with "The 5 Big Myths About Gen Y" as wel the future of the workforce and best practices to get, keep and grow your staff.

Some questions you have to ask yourself (and we’ll discuss) are:

    • What is the future for the blue collar workforce?
    • What does the blue collar workforce need to do?
